COLOUR

It´s a basic element of visual language.
Color pigment: it´s a material that makes the color
Hue: it´s the name of the colors
Saturation: it´s the purity of the color
Value: it´s the amount of black or white that has a color on his mix
Complementary color: it´s the color that is in front of the other in the color wheel
Warn range: it´s the scale of a color that has more yellow or more magent
Cool range: it´s the scale of color that transmit the sensetion of coldness
Grey scale: It´s a set of colors wich have only black and white

TEXTURE

it´s the visual and tactile quality os a mateial
Tactile: are those you can touch
Visual: are those you can see
Natural: you con found in the nature
Artificial: you found but creayed by the human
Rubbing technique: you rub acrayon on a thin paper
Scratchboarding: you made twou coats of colour and you scratch something and you see the other colours

SHAPES AND FORM

It´s an external apearance of an object.
Natural shapes: are ones that are related to the nature
Artificial shapes: they are created by the human
Organic shapes: they are the ones that have irregular profile or siluethe
Geometry shapes: they have a mathematic order
Flat shapes: they have two dimensions
Form: volumetric shapes, they are 3 dimensionals

MASK

We had to do m the mime with a mask in our heads.

BASIC ELEMENTS PF REPRESENTATON: LINE

Broken lines: they are formed by fragment of straight lines with different directions.
Wavy lines: they are fomed by curved lines
Curly lines: they show loops and has curved wavy lines.
Scribble lines: they are lines in every directions.
Hatching: it´s a way to give tones to objects or to surface with paralels lines.
Cross hatching: it´s a way to give shade to a drawing.
Dashed: they are lines that are discontinuous.
Blurred: they are vanished  so they are hard to see.
Simple lines: they are shapes formed by only one line.
Composite: they are lines  composed by several straight and curved lines.
Vertical lines: they express ascendant or descendant depending they are used.
Horizontal lines: they produce visual feeling of stabilityand tranquility.
Skew lines: they produce unsteadiness and movement feeling.

BASIC ELEMENTS OF VISUAL REPRESENTATION: DOT

Dot: is the smalest element in expression, it has size, shapes or colour.
The dot three dimensional capacity: is when shape, size or colour are changed.
The dot expressive capacity: The point has unlimited capacity to represent images and to express ideas.
Optical mix: when colours are mixed for forming other colours but you don´t mixed in your painting palette.
